It has been awhile since our last post, my apologies for that.  I have been doing a bit of research into what types of chicken coops and chicken coop plans are currently on the market.  Needless to say, there are a lot! (You can see ours

There are some good ones out there, no doubt about it.  There are also some very poor plans available, no surprise there.

When we began building our chicken coops, we also sought guidance from a wide variety of sources.  We looked through many different styles and sizes before we decided on our final design.  One major problem we had was that I have never been much good at carpentry.  When I see blueprints, I freeze up…

…and I know I am not alone.

Building chicken coops doesn’t have to give you a migraine

It gives me a headache to even think about looking at blueprints.  I have always been a visual and audial learner.  I find it so much easier to see pictures or listen to instruction.  Better yet if both are available at the same time.

Unfortunately for me, there were very few options available that had lots of pictures correlated to the blueprints or the text.  I know it sounds juvenile, but I need that.  We saw a need…

That’s why we created our own system (again, you can see our download page HERE).
